A Weekend in the Wild
/If you’re thinking of booking a holiday at the moment, I know one of the things that’s going to be at the forefront of your mind is the cost of it all. Because at the end of the day, holidays are expensive, especially if you’re going during the school holidays. You have to pay for the price of the package holiday, plus any additional extras, plus clothes, plus spending money while you’re there. It’s one of the reasons why so many people only manage to go on one holiday a year. But, there’s different ways of doing this. You could spend a weekend in the wild, and spend hardly anything. Meaning you could spend every other weekend in the wild for probably six months, and not come close to spending what you would on just one persons package holiday, not even the family! So, let's show you why this is the best idea for you, have a read on to find out more!
Easy To Organise
There’s a lot of stress around organizing a holiday. You have to get the perfect destination for the whole family, have to get the dates right, and have to get the price right. It can mean you’re spending weeks trying to book something, when a weekend in the wild could be organized in a day. You can view here some of the excellent camping equipment you would need to buy, and the only other things you would need to take are essentials. So you see, the hardest thing for you to organize is going to be what tent you should buy, and what destination you should go to. But luckily for you, there are so many different campsites that you could pitch up on, and the pitch will cost you no more than $30 per family each time!
Cheap Fun
If you want cheap fun, this is the place to be. I’ve already discussed that all you need is a tent and essentials, but it is the things that you can do while you’re there that make it that little bit better. Most campsites will have loads of outdoor activities that either you can all take part in, or just the kids could go and enjoy. Most of them are family friendly, so there will be something for everyone to do. Because you’re out amongst nature, it’s just so much easier to find things to do, such as going for a bike ride, or going down to the beach if you have pitched up close to one.
Multiple Worldwide Destinations
Just because you’re camping, it doesn’t mean that you have to stick to the closest destination to you. You could easily take your tent abroad, either by taking your car, or a plane ride. You’re still doing what other people are doing, which is seeing the world, but you’re cutting out part of the price because you’re not spending money on a package holiday! There’s plenty of campsites worldwide, especially in countries such as France and Spain, that are truly wonderful!
